The 9th All-Russian NAUKA Festival will be held in Nizhny Novgorod on September 7-8.  The event will coincide with the annual festival "42". The program includes talks by prominent scientists and popularizers of science, interactive exhibitions, science shows, excursions, master classes. In 2019, the Nizhny Novgorod region became one of the seven central regional venues of the NAUKA Festival. The main theme of the Festival is the periodic table of chemical elements. On September 7, visitors will be invited to a classic open-air event on the UNN campus (Gagarin Avenue, 23). On September 8, a series of lectures and a marathon of popular science cinema will be held at the UNN Science Park (Ulyanov Street, 10B). The program includes over 30 scientific sites for children and adults, a compendium of games from the Schrödinger's  Cat magazine, the Science Slam where young scientists will explain their research projects in short 10-minute-talks, an exhibition of science museums, a show of robots, a book fair and, of course, a variety of lectures. Six sets of lectures will be offered to the guests of the Festival. The list of invited speakers  includes Asya Kazantseva, Alexey Vodovozov, Irina Levontina, Kirill Martynov, Vladimir Chuvildeev and many others. Admission to all events is free.
