The international online seminar "Effective protection of workers' rights in the EU" was held on September 28 at the UNN Faculty of Law. The seminar was organized under the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet program project "European labour law: protection of human rights" (project 599411-EPP-1-2018-1-RU-EPPJMO-MODULE), implemented by Lobachevsky University, under the auspices of the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the Russian Lawyers Association. The seminar was focused on the analysis of the experience of the European Union and EU member states in labour regulation and protection of workers' rights. Its participants also discussed the possibility of taking European experience into account when reforming national labour legislation. Taking part in the online seminar  were representatives of five countries: Russia, Belarus, Germany, Estonia and Kazakhstan. The participants of the seminar included about 25 experts in the field of European and labour law and more than 40 trainees, including a group of students of the advanced training courses of the International University "MITSO" (Minsk), as well as interested students of the UNN Faculty of Law.
