On July 4, a graduation ceremony was held for foreign citizens who completed their studies at the UNN preparatory courses. Appropriate certificates were issued to the young people wishing to enter Lobachevsky University and attend the degree programs in Russian. During the course, they studied the Russian language as well as the basics of the main subjects corresponding to the selected field of study, which are necessary to enter the chosen degree program.

Vice-Rector for International Affairs Alexander Bedny congratulated preparatory program graduates:
“All of you have made a long journey: after coming to our university from far-away countries, you did a lot of work studying the Russian language and other subjects according to the program of the preparatory department. You did it successfully, achieved high results and reached the finishing line of this difficult part of your way. I congratulate you on the completion of the pre-university training program and wish you success in your future studies. Our university is always open for you! We will be happy if your further academic life will be connected with Lobachevsky University.”
