On November 9, Konstantin Kemaev, Head of the UNN International Cooperation Office, took part in the international B2B exhibition EduCanada Virtual Fair in Central & Eastern Europe and Central Asia. In the course of the exhibition events, negotiations were held with some of Canada's top universities, including University of Calgary, University of Alberta, University of Ottawa, University of Windsor and Brock University. The Embassy of Canada in the Russian Federation provided information on current scholarship programs  available to Lobachevsky University students to support their academic mobility.

The Canadian partners were interested in academic exchange programs in the format of "semester abroad" and summer schools, as well as in the possibility of implementing language courses - ESL (English as a second language) for UNN students and RFL (Russian as a foreign language) for Canadian students, respectively. As a follow-up of the meeting, the parties will study the possibility of implementing joint English language educational programs with Brock University
