The portal "Superjob for Students" has published the 2020 rating of Russian universities reflecting the level of salaries of university graduates working in the field of law who finished their studies in 2014-2019. In this rating, Lobachevsky University has improved on its last year's performance and currently ranks 6th nationwide. It also shares the 1st place with Kazan among regional universities (not counting Moscow and St. Petersburg). The average salary of UNN graduates in this field of activity is currently 77 thousand roubles, 7 thousand more than in 2019. According to Elena Zagaynova, Rector of Lobachevsky University, the results of the rating show our graduates' high efficiency and high demand on the labor market for lawyers trained at the UNN. "Lobachevsky University is one of the leading centers in the country for training highly qualified lawyers. There is a stereotype regarding an overabundance of lawyers in the country, but in reality there is a lack of good lawyers. Employers are deeply involved in the process of training lawyers at our university, our graduates are familiar to them and are in demand. All this is monetized into the constantly growing level of salaries of our graduates, most of whom are later successfully employed in their profession," said Elena Zagaynova. The rating was compiled by the Superjob research center based on a comparison of the average income level of graduates of Russian universities in 2014-2019.
