Russian national team wins gold at the 18th World Championship in Amateur Radio Direction Finding

At the 18th World Championship in Amateur Radio Direction Finding in Albena (Bulgaria) in early September, the Russian national team won a gold medal. A total of 319 athletes from 33 countries took part in the competitions. Lobachevsky University was represented by Professor Vadim Kuzmin, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports. Vadim Kuzmin, who has an impressive record of achievements in the past (4 times European champion, 3 times the champion of the USSR, 8 times the champion of Russia) added three more medals to his collection after competing with very strong and experienced rivals who included multiple world and European champions.
