From May 2 to May 5, more than a hundred students and graduates of Nizhni Novgorod universities together with members of youth public organizations will participate in the work of the volunteer camp in the Semenov district within the framework of the "Living Earth" project. During this period, volunteer students will plant seedlings of coniferous and deciduous trees and improve the territory of the Krestovozdvizhensky Convent in the village of Bydreevka. They will clear the site from natural debris, saw and remove fallen trees, organize a recreation area near the convent. Students’ work on forest plantations, which is already familiar to most project participants, will be supervised by the Semenov forestry. After 6-8 hours of daily work, young people will engage in educational and recreational activities in the evening.
