 Goal:  UNN is to become a leading research, education and innovation cluster

in the field of advanced digital (including quantum and supercomputer) technologies, as well as AI technologies and their applications in particular fields of knowledge (life sciences, physics, ecology, socio-humanitarian research)

Employers and customers of the Centre:

The IT industry in the Nizhny Novgorod region (Yandex, Sberbank, Intel, Huawei, etc.), institutes of the Academy of Sciences, enterprises of state corporations Rosatom and Rostec, universities of the Volga-Vyatka region, enterprises of the real economy sector

 Mathematics of Future Technologies Research and Education Mathematical Centre

Centre for Trusted Artificial Intelligence

Supercomputing consortium with the Moscow State University

Joint laboratories with the Rosatom National Physics and Mathematics Centre

10 new laboratories of leading scientists and 20 young scientists’ laboratories

IT faculty: 1,000 highly skilled IT graduates a year and 5,000 graduates in non-core fields with IT competencies

Innovation infrastructure: Technoplatform 2035 REC and Quantum Valley ISTC

Resource infrastructure: distributed supercomputer infrastructure based on Lomonosov (MSU) and Lobachevsky (UNN) supercomputer centres

Neimark IT campus - over 5,400 places

Digital industry of the  Nizhny Novgorod region in 2020 and the effects of the NTP by 2030:

IT organisations: 1.5 thousand  (2x)

IT professionals: 33 thousand (2x)

 Total industry revenues:  ~40 billion roubles (2x)

 3rd place in exports of information, computer and telecommunication products and services (after Moscow and St. Petersburg)
