Intermediate Russian Language Programme
This course is dedicated to students with a prior knowledge of Russian Language and are looking to continue and develop their understanding of the subject. To study this course students should have already studies Russian Language to a beginner’s level or should demonstrate prior knowledge to the admissions team.
During the course, students will be expected to undertake the opportunities around them and facilitate in class learning with self-study. A large focus of the work and course materials will be set in Russian to give students the best opportunity to meet the course aims.
The course also includes a module of professional Russian language.Students choose from the following areas of the module of the professional Russian language:
— Humane sciences
— Economics
— Natural science
— Engineering and technology
— Medicine and biology
Thus, the students themselves choose the orientation of the module taking into account their professional preferences.
The module of the professional Russian language allows students to get acquainted with the special vocabulary and grammar typical for the language of a certain specialty.
The aims of the course will be to speak and communicate in Russian in many different spheres of activity in fields such as tourism, business, politics, education and even social networking. By the end of the course, students will be able to speak spontaneously and quickly with native speakers of Russian, as well as to express a points of view and highlighting their activities past and present within the right context and grammatical forms to a native Russian speaker.
At the end of the course, all students are invited to be examined for the Russian government’s certificate II level of the Russian language qualification TORFL, which is the Russian Language equivalent of IELTS in comparison to the English Language system.

Entry requirements
1. Valid International Passport (the passport should be valid for at least 18 months upon your arrival date in Russia)
2. Motivation Letter
3. Applicant must be physically and mentally fit to undertake the programme.

b) Submit a copy of your international passport (all fulfilled pages);
c) Submit a medical certificate which confirms no contra-indications for study abroad and tuberculosis & HIV test. The certificate should be issued not earlier than 3 months before the application date.
