Badminton at UNN

Russia has a proud and successful history in badminton with UNN strongly representing Russia at all levels including previous, World and European Championships with UNN students Nina Vislova and her partner Valeria Sorokina winning Russia’s first ever Badminton medal by claiming Bronze at the London 2012 Olympics. Russia is by far the most successful nation in the premier world Badminton competition the BWF Grand Prix Series.

With the head coach of the Russian Badminton team Alexandr Gutko coaching a Russian National Team and UNN students Andrey Dolotov and Anastasiia Malkova representing Russia at the World University Badminton Games in 2014 in Cordoba, we can safely say that UNN is a prime environment for you to hone your skills whatever your level.

UNN has a sports set-up primed for those wishing to play and compete in Badminton at any level, with dedicated national coaches and optimal badminton facilities including a gym and a training hall with spectator space, you could be playing a high level of badminton whatever your experience.

UNN welcomes participants from all those interested regarding your previous background with the sport. Below is listing the timetable for both the University Team training times and the times of the coaching sessions of graded classes.
