Karting at UNN

Motorsport is improving in popularity in Russia with forms of motorsport starting to compete here such as the F1 Russian Grand Prix in Sochi. Despite not being able to offer students an experience in an F1 Car UNN can offer students the opportunity to compete in Karting which is seen as a stepping stone to other variants of motorsports. Karting is a variant of open-wheel motorsport with small, open, four-wheeled vehicles called karts, go-karts, or gearbox/shifter karts depending on the design. They are usually raced on scaled-down circuits.

Karting is a great way to relax and stay competitive as you compete against fellow competitors whilst being able to improve your driving skills, which can be particularly handy if you wish you obtain a driving license. It can also help improve your mathematical, thinking and decision making skills as all of these are needed when it comes dealing when it comes to motor racing.

UNN welcomes participants from all those interested regarding your previous experience within Karting. Below is listing the times of the coaching sessions of graded classes. Classes for Karting takes place at the Kart Club in Nizhny Novgorod as UNN does not have any on site facilities dedicated to Karting.
