From February 6 to February 11, Associate Professor of the UNN Faculty of Philology Natalia Avtaeva took part in the International Week 2017 at Volda University College (Norway) under the Erasmus+  mobility program. International Week 2017 brought together representatives from more than twenty countries. The purpose of the event was to establish international contacts between students and faculty members of leading universities engaged in cooperation with Volda University College. The guest list of the week included representatives of the University of Wroclaw (Poland), Kiel University of Applied Science (Germany), Ecole Superieure d'Art et Design (France), Erasmus University College Brussels (Belgium), Roshni Nilaya School of Social Work (India), Aberystwyth University and Westminster University (UK), University of California San Diego (USA), Charles University Prague (Czech Republic) and many other universities and colleges. In the course of the event, participating universities made presentations of their international programs. Within the framework of the cultural festival, students from different countries who study at Volda University College showed their national costumes and dishes, performed dances and songs. In addition, students and faculty members had plenty of opportunities to talk about their higher education institutions, educational programs and traditions. As part of the International Week, a tour of  the media center and a meeting with journalism students and teaching staff of the Faculty of Media and Journalism were organized. The guests were also welcomed by the Rector of Volda University College Johann Roppen.
