Belgian expert gives a lecture at UNN
On October 31, a lecture on the topic "Commercialization of innovative products and intellectual property on the example of the Technology Transfer Center" was held at Lobachevsky University for students of the program "Innovative entrepreneurship". The speaker was Martin Hinoul, Director of the research center at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. Dr. Hinoul talked about his extensive experience in the field of technology commercialization, about creating, together with his colleague, the fastest growing technology cluster in continental Europe. Particular attention was given to regions with well-developed innovation economy, global innovation clusters, and business environment. A number of examples of successful start-up companies were given. "What we need is not only a recipe, but a chef who will cook everything – the same applies to the economy. Remember this. Believe in yourself and your potential. Then you will achieve the desired results," said Martin Hinoul. On the same day, Vice Rector for International Affairs Alexander Bedny held a working meeting with Professor Hinoul.
