On August 7, a new Dissertation Council for awarding the academic degrees of Candidate of Sciences and Doctor of Sciences was established at Lobachevsky University. The Council will award degrees in a wide range of disciplines in economics and management. Professor Oleg Trofimov, Head of the Department "Company Economics" at the UNN Institute of Economics and Entrepreneurship was appointed Chairman of the Dissertation Council.
