An exhibition entitled "People and Money" was opened on October 9 at the UNN Museum. The exhibition was presented by the Volga-Vyatka Central Administration of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. It reflects the main stages of the one and a half century-long history of the country's main bank - from the establishment in 1860 of the State Bank of the Russian Empire to the modern Bank of Russia. Numerous exhibits include genuine banknotes of the late 19th – early 21st century, money bags, counterfoils, wads of notes and even money shreds. Visitors can compare prices for some staples like milk, flour and butter from early 20th century to our days.

The exhibition venue is the UNN Museum (Nizhni Novgorod, Prospekt Gagarina, 23, building 2, 2nd floor).
