On May 17, international conference “Modern Technologies of Migration Management in the Times of Crisis” began its work at Lobachevsky University.

At the plenary session participants gave opening speeches and presented their reports. Director of the Institute of International Relations and World History, Professor Mikhail Rykhtik acted as moderator.

A session on the topic “Global Experience of Migration Crises Regulation” and a round table “Ethno-Confessional and Cultural Aspects of Migration from Central Asia to Russia: Main Trends and Local Contexts” took place on the first day of the conference.

On May 18, a round table “Migration Policy as a Factor of Investment Development. Legal Precedents of Russia, France and the European Union” was held. On May 19, the conference ended after the last round table devoted to the topic “Migration Policy of Russia and EU”. Director of the Institute of International Relations and World History, Professor Mikhail Rykhtik, as well Professor Mohamed Loutfi Maherzi from the University of Versailles, Professor Aissa Kadri from the University of Paris VIII, Professors Amelie Dionisi and Abdelwahab Biad from the University of Rouen gave speeches at the closing ceremony.
