
Training Workshop on International Student Recruiting
Lobachevsky University took part in a training workshop organized in the framework of the Project 5-100
On April 28-29, 2016, the UNN delegation from the Faculty of International Students and the Institute of Economics and Entrepreneurship led by Vice-Rector for International Affairs Alexander Bedny participated in a training seminar on forming a complex methodology of building and introducing a system of international student recruiting in Russian universities. The seminar was organized by the Kazan Federal University (KFU) in the framework of the Project 5-100.
Alexander Bedny was one of the main speakers of the seminar, presenting a report on Lobachevsky University’s best practices in the sphere of international student recruiting and adaptation.
The participants of the training seminar discussed the most pressing issues and problems of international student recruiting in Russia including major trends of international student mobility, recruiting via external agents and alumni associations, scholarships and the quota system, developing international student services in Russian universities.
