Meotida Archaeological Group is part of the Centre of Historical and Cultural Anthropology at UNN Institute of International Relations and World History. A team made of UNN students and staff conducts archaeological excavations to trace the earlier history of eastern Crimea.

The East-Crimean archaeological expedition of the Institute of Archaeology of the Russian Academy of Sciences is the academic partner of Meotida Archaeological Group.

Meotida Archaeological Group members include students in archaeology, who gain experience in archaeological field practice, and enthusiasts wishing to breathe the history of ancient monuments and help find ancient objects for study.

Volunteers are invited to get experience at a real archaeological dig.
