132 Partnership Agreements Signed by Universities at the First QS WORLDWIDE in Russia
On September 29-30, 2015, the First QS WORLDWIDE Conference and Exhibition, held in Nizhny Novgorod, central European Russia, brought together 400 educational leaders representing 94 universities from 37 countries.
The First QS WORLDWIDE in Russia resulted in 132 partnership agreements signed by universities to promote internationalization of higher education, develop joint research and educational projects and facilitate the exchange of students, PhD students and staff.
CEO of QS Asia, Mandy Mok, said that QS has been organizing similar events around the world for more than 10 years, but the First QS WORLDWIDE in Russia was perhaps one of the most successful and fruitful conferences over the years.
Rector of Lobachevsky University, Prof. Evgeny Chuprunov said that signed agreements are the beginning of a long journey of collaboration with international universities, which will provide new study abroad and work placement opportunities at successful universities of Asia.
The Second QS WORLDWIDE 2016 will be announced in the coming months.
