Kirill Shashin, a first-year student at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, won the men’s 5,000m short track relay silver at the Winter Universiade in Granada, Spain from February 4 to 14, 2015. Russia topped the medal list.

Iulia Kichapova, a five-year student at UNN Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, won short track Russian Cup silver, losing only to Nina Evteeva, twice European champion in the women’s short track relay. The Russian Cup final took place in Kolomna, Moscow region from February 5 to 8, 2015.
