Prof. Anton Fortunatov, Head of the Department of Online Media, gave an open lecture entitled ‘The Specifics of Communicative Interaction in the Russian Segment of Social Networks’ at the Faculty of Philosophy of Georg-August University of Goettingen on February 4. This lecture will be followed by other events jointly held by the Faculty of Philology of Lobachevsky University and the Faculty of Philosophy of Goettingen University.

Georg-August University of Goettingen is a well renowned and top-ranked German University, which has a special focus on Slavic Studies, especially Russian literature and culture. According to Prof. Fortunatov, colleagues from Goettingen University are interested in launching a dual Master’s programme in Russian Literature and Modern Communication with Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod.

The academic trip was funded by Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod in the framework of 5/100 Initiative.
