UNN Academics Receive Professional Development Training in the UK

Professors of Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod (UNN) visited the University of Southampton, the UK on a two week professional development programme from November 17 to 28.

One group of UNN academics benefited from high quality training in writing for publishing and the other one composed of English professors developed and enhanced teaching skills in a course on e-learning. The former mastered the rules of writing scientific articles in English and carried out a detailed analysis of the articles prepared during the course of training. The latter developed a number of e-learning courses to ensure effective teaching of English at UNN. The academics were enabled to use LOKtool specially designed for this purpose.

It was a great chance for UNN academics to hone their international communication skills. The visit also contributed to the development of relations between two universities.
