Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod (UNN) took part in Brazil EDUEXPOS. The international education fair was held in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo in late September. Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod was the only university from Russia among over 50 higher education institutions from Canada, the UK, the U.S., France, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, and Australia.

Delegates from UNN gave a series of presentations about the university’s academic programmes. Many fair attendees were interested in receiving education in Russia – more than 500 Brazilians were consulted by our experts. Lobachevsky State University’s Russian language programmes, Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes in Russian and English were the most popular with Latin American citizens.

The delegation from Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod also visited Brazilian higher education institutions and held talks with Rio de Janeiro State University, Sao Paulo State University and Mackenzie Presbyterian University about potential cooperation. The talks were held with the assistance of Latin American-Russian Association for Higher Education ALAR.
