When I arrived in Russia for the first time, I realised straight away that the Russian language was absolutely necessary for day-to-day live. This was the reason I decided to take Russian classes at Lobachevsky University of Nizhny Novgorod for the whole year. At first, it was hard, but thanks to the 5-hour classes a day and a good teacher, in less than two months my classmates and I were able to speak basic Russian in the supermarket, in the dormitory, etc.

Looking back on that time, I can only say thanks to the people who taught us Russian and shared their deep knowledge of the subject. Now, after that amazing experience in a new country, I can say that those months in Nizhny Novgorod were one of the best experiences I have ever had. Thanks to that, I now have more opportunities in the labor market.
