On April 13 – 18,  Lobachevsky University Choir directed by Larisa Erykalova visited Germany to take part in the International Choral Festival. From April 13 to April 15, the choir participated in the concert program at the open-air site near the Brandenburg Gate and at the Berlin Musical Academy, and on April 18,  it performed in a joint concert with the JazzVocals, an a capella choir from Berlin that took part in the   Young Voices -2016 International Choral Festival in Nizhni Novgorod. This concert was held in the Lutheran Hoffnungskirche in Berlin where it gathered many music lovers and was a real success. The two choirs presented their solo programs and sang together. The concert received a very warm response from the audience. During this trip, the choir held an action to commemorate the Soviet soldiers who fell in the Great Patriotic War. In preparation for the Victory Day, a video clip was recorded, based on the composition of A.Baraev "Wait for me" (with the lyrics by Konstantin Simonov).  The composition was performed by the University Choir in Berlin’s most memorable places: near the Reichstag building, near the monument to the Soviet Soldier close to the Brandenburg Gate, and near the monument "Liberator" in the Treptower Park. The choir also visited the historical building of the Reichstag (currently, the meeting place of the German parliament) on a tour and even managed to sing in its famous dome.
