On April 17, 2017, the presentation of Tatyana Vinogradova’s book "Through the eyes of an eyewitness. The 1896 All-Russian Industry and Art Exhibition" (Quartz Publishers, 2016)  took place at the conference center of the UNN library. The book was published to mark the 120th anniversary of one of the most memorable events in the Russian history, the 16th All-Russian Industry and Art Exhibition that was held in Nizhni Novgorod in 1896. The narrative of the book is based on the writings of the remarkable Nizhni Novgorod educator and publicist Vasily Vinogradov, who was one of the first to give an accurate and in-depth description of the exhibition processes, from the preparation stage to the closing ceremony. The author, Professor of the Nizhni Novgorod State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering Tatyana Vinogradova (granddaughter of Vasily Vinogradov) has dedicated the book to his 160th birthday anniversary.
