The Russian Science Foundation (RSF) has announced the results of the competition for grants under the programme “Conducting Basic Research and Exploratory Research by Small Individual Research Groups”. The competition is aimed at supporting and developing research teams that hold leading positions in certain fields of science. Grants under the competition of small individual research groups are awarded for basic and exploratory research in 2025-2026 in all branches of knowledge of the RSF classifier.

This year, 11 projects of Lobachevsky University researchers were supported by the Russian Science Foundation grants:

  • “Development of a physical model of plasma perturbations”
  • “Mean-field models of neuron-glial interaction in the hippocampus based on experimental data”
  • “High-resolution microscopy methods for the study of oral mucosal immunity components”
  • “Low-intensity magnetic fields as a factor of modification of organism resistance to stressing effects: the role of oxidative stress in effect realization”
  • “Monitoring of the state and dynamics of cryoplankton and cryophyton diversity under climate change and increased anthropogenic impact”
  • “Development of methods of optical diagnostics and laser stimulation of bovine semen”
  • “Experimental-theoretical study of dynamic processes and parameters of the plasma and neutral component of the Earth's lower ionosphere by the method of resonant scattering of radio waves on artificial periodic inhomogeneities of the ionospheric plasma”
  • “Public-law mechanisms for ensuring the security of synthetic data use in the activities of executive authorities”
  • “Conceptual and empirical analysis of the problem of using the symbolic power of scientific knowledge as 'social currency'”
  • “Ancestral memory and kinship construction in the periods of socio-political transformations of ancient and medieval societies”
  • “Magnetoresistive light-emitting diodes: a new concept of magnetically controlled logic”

The amount of one grant is up to 1.5 million roubles annually.
