22 Lobachevsky University students awarded TOP-IT scholarship

Lobachevsky University held an award ceremony for best first-year students who received the TOP-IT scholarship based on their performance in the winter exam session of the 2025/2026 academic year.

The scholarship is granted to students who have shown outstanding academic  results. Financial support is provided during the spring semester.

This year, the scholarship recipients include 22 first-year students from the UNN Institute of Information Technology, Mathematics, and Mechanics  (IITMM). Appropriate certificates were handed out by Nikolai Zolotykh, Director of the Institute. In his address, henoted the students’ high level of training and underlined that the TOP-IT scholarship serves not only as financial support but also as official recognition of the professional potential of students who are ready to develop in high-tech fields.

Anna Kolchina, Head of the regional division of T1 IT holding company, represented the university's industrial partners at the event. She congratulated the winners and emphasised the importance of collaboration between the university and the business sector in training sought-after IT professionals.
