METAL-COMPLEX CATALYSIS IN ORGANIC SYNTHESIS AND POLYMERIZATION PROCESSES:

Main results:

- Original catalytic compositions (CC) for the processes of (de)hydrogenation of organic and metallic compounds have been developed;
- Highly effective CCs on the basis of Ni complexes for reactions of cross- coupling and synthesis of homo- and copolymers of vinyl monomers of controlled composition have been proposed;
- Effective state of the art CCs on the basis of ruthenium compounds have been developed for the synthesis of narrow-dispersion polymers in the conditions approaching those of industrial production;
- New systems of metal complex catalysis have been developed for fine organic synthesis, including the synthesis of anti-cancer drugs;
- Palladium nanocatalyst for fine organic synthesis reactions has been developed. The carrier of palladium particles is a polyelectrolyte matrix. The diameter of the polystyrene core is 100 nanometers. The size of palladium particles is 2.6 nanometers.
