OPTIMAL CONTROL OF CONFLICT FLOWS:

- Providing recommendations as to the optimum parameters for controlling traffic lights with rigid switching at crossroads in small cities;
- Recommendations on optimum algorithms for switching traffic lights in small cities;
- Studying the algorithms for controlling conflict flows presented by customers;
- Development of computer models - simulators of crossroads and networks of crossroads.

Main results (comparable with the best world analogues):

- Various algorithms have been investigated for controlling conflict flows of requirements: cyclic, priority, with prolongation;
- Models of control over conflict flows with variable stochastic structure (formed in a random environment) have been built and are being investigated;
- Output flows at crossroads are being studied successfully;
- Optimal parameters have been proposed for controlling traffic flows.
