Innovation Technology Center

Innovation Technology Centre (ITC) is a structural division of the University. Its mission is to provide a technological surge and transition to an innovative scenario in the industrial development of Nizhni Novgorod, of the Volga Federal District and Russia as a whole.

We offer two basic services:

1. FOR INVENTORS - we optimise the process of invention. This includes our help to inventors at the very starting point of an innovation called for by the market, developing an adequate business and patent strategy, preparation of investment offers acceptable to investors, and licence agreements.

2. FOR INVESTORS - we provide consulting services to Russian and foreign businessmen and production companies interested in the use of new technologies and in the manufacture of new products. Venture investment in promising companies with the subsequent sale of their fraction of shares is a new high-yield speculative tool that may be attractive and interesting to many financiers. ITC is an official representative in the Nizhni Novgorod region of the Fund for Promoting the Development of Small Forms of Enterprises in the Sphere of Science and Technology. ITC receives applications from organisations located in the Volga Federal District to be granted funds under the Federal Program "Start". Currently, the Fund provides financing on a competitive basis to 64 newly-formed innovation companies in the Volga Federal District.
