A delegation from Essen (Germany) visits UNN

On October 17, Suzanne Menich, professor of Gesamtschule Heiligenhaus, art historian of the Art Museum of the city of Essen met with UNN Institute of Philology and Journalism students. She presented her report “A collection of paintings at the Art Museum of the City of Essen” (a virtual tour). Later, a press conference was held at the Media Center of the University, where a famous pianist, honorary professor of Folkwang Universitat der Kunste Thomas Gunther joined Susanna Menich. The students learned about the cultural life of Essen, the twin city of Nizhny Novgorod, received information about the specifics of musical education in Germany, and had a discussion with the guests about contemporary art and music.
