A new testing laboratory to be set up at UNN

The Academic Council of Lobachevsky University has made a decision to set up a voluntary certification testing laboratory, CII-CERT. The new unit will begin its work on the premises of the  UNN Institute of Information Technology, Mathematics, and Mechanics. This will mark a significant step in the development of the university's strategic partnership with Rosatom State Corporation.

The establishment of the laboratory confirms Lobachevsky University's status as a leading competence centre in the field of critical information infrastructure (CII). The university is building its own scientific and methodological base aimed at ensuring Russia's technological sovereignty.

The laboratory plans to conduct equipment testing for CII facilities, carry out research projects, and implement additional professional education programmes.
