Algerian Culture Day at UNN

The Algerian Culture Day, organised by students from that country, took place at Lobachevsky University. Algeria is a country with a rich ancient history, where Berber, Arab, and Mediterranean traditions intertwine. Participants of the event were able to experience this cultural wealth through music, dances, and national costumes.

"The program of the event featured heartfelt vocal and instrumental performances, historical and dramatic theatre productions, vibrant dance performances, and presentations about the country's culture, reflecting the rich, lively, and endlessly captivating atmosphere of an Algerian oriental fairy tale," noted, Head of the UNN Department for International Student Affairs.

Addressing the participants, she also emphasized the significance of such meetings for fostering intercultural dialogue and friendship among students from different countries. The Algerian Culture Day marked another step toward enhancing interethnic harmony and developing the international student community at Lobachevsky University.
