Artificial Intelligence Centre to be set up by Lobachevsky University and DOM.RF
Lobachevsky University and Joint-Stock Company "DOM.RF" will establish a modern Artificial Intelligence Centre. A memorandum to this effect was signed by Nikolay Kozak, Managing Director for IT and Digital Transformation at DOM.RF, and Oleg Trofimov, Acting Rector of Lobachevsky University, during the CIPR-2023 conference on 31 May 2023.
The Artificial Intelligence Centre of DOM.RF aims to train competitive competent personnel in the field of digital technologies for the state, public and private sectors.
"In order to provide the construction industry with modern personnel, we aim to train young professionals in the areas of data analytics and data science within the framework of our cooperation. This will help to overcome personnel shortages in the digitalisation of the construction industry," said Nikolay Kozak, Managing Director for IT and Digital Transformation at DOM.RF.
As part of the cooperation, the parties expect to train a workforce of next-generation professionals in programming and data analytics. Joint projects using artificial intelligence technologies in housing construction and the creation of an expert platform for exchanging experience and training professionals are also envisaged.
"The Cooperation Memorandum consolidates cooperation between Lobachevsky University and JSC DOM.RF in the development of artificial intelligence technologies. The Artificial Intelligence Centre will help with the training of highly qualified personnel for the digital economy. The University will provide the research component, which is so important today for the development of the practical field," summed up Oleg Trofimov, Acting Rector of Lobachevsky University.
