Chess Festival to be held at the UNN

The Chess Festival "Cup of Hope - 2018" will be held at Lobachevsky University on Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street, 37 from August 12 to August 20. This year, the tournament is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the great Russian writer A.M. Gorky. Young chess players from Russia, Belarus, England and Morocco will have a chance to show their talents in this competition. The aim of the tournament is to improve the skills of young chess players, to develop an integrated system of children's chess competitions in Russia, to popularize the chess game and to determine the winners of the preliminary stage of competitions for the Cup of Russia among boys and girls in different age groups.
