"Christmas Meetings" with international students of Lobachevsky University

International students of Lobachevsky University took part in the "Christmas Meetings" at Gymnasium No. 184 in Nizhny Novgorod.

During the event, the students learned about the traditions of celebrating New Year's Eve in Russia, and told the gymnasium students about the way New Year's Eve is celebrated in their own countries.

Fun contests, a round dance around the Christmas tree and a tea party in the best traditions of Russian hospitality made the visit to the gymnasium a true highlight. According to international students, they enjoyed the holiday atmosphere in the gymnasium, the sincere hospitality, and the pupils' interest in the guests which made the meeting so cordial and friendly.

At the end of the meeting, both the organisers and the guests agreed that they would like to continue their contacts and have joint activities.
