Closing of the IT Summer School at Lobachevsky University

On August 17, the closing ceremony of the international IT Summer School was held at the UNN. Taking part in the summer school were 18 outstanding students specializing in IT from the best universities in Mexico. Irina Leonova, Head of the International Affairs Department, thanked the students for their participation in the school and presented certificates confirming their attendance of the courses "Big Data" and "Android Programming", as well as their level of the Russian language that they also studied at Lobachevsky University. Some of the most active volunteers, who helped school participants to adapt to a new place and to get acquainted with Russian culture and traditions, received letters of thanks from the UNN. During the last week of the school, an excursion to the IT company "Mera" was organized for students, where IT experts shared their experience of working for a large international corporation, talked about the company’s current projects, discussed the pros and cons of working in the field of IT and answered students’ other questions of interest.
