Conference on mathematical modelling and supercomputer technologies to be held at UNN

The 21st International Conference and School "Mathematical Modelling and Supercomputing" will be held at Lobachevsky University as part of the International Congress "Supercomputing Days in Russia" on November 22-26, 2021. The Conference and School are organised by the Research and Education Mathematical Center "Mathematics of Future Technologies" and the Volga Research and Education Centre of Supercomputing Technologies of Lobachevsky University.

The scientific programme of the Conference opening on November 22 includes a wide range of topics: models and methods of decision support and artificial intelligence, mathematical modelling of system dynamics and control processes, theory of dynamic systems and bifurcations, and the use of supercomputing technologies to solve computationally complex problems.

The School for young researchers will take place on November 24-26. It is aimed at studying modern technologies of high-performance computing and artificial intelligence and the possibilities of their practical application for solving current scientific and technical problems in various fields of science and technology. As part of the school, lectures and master classes by experts from universities and industry, and virtual tours of IT companies are planned.

Applications for the conference and school, as well as papers will be accepted until October 20. Notification of acceptance will be sent to the applicants on November 1. The  program committee of the conference and the youth school includes scientists from Russia, Great Britain, Sweden, Germany, Italy, and Poland. Conference sponsors are Intel Corporation and Huawei.
