Cooperation prospects discussed with Vice-Rector of LUISS University (Italy)

On 16 January, Raffaele Marchetti, Vice-Rector for Internationalization of the Free International University of Social Sciences Guido Carli (LUISS), visited Lobachevsky University. During the visit, Professor Marchetti met with Acting Rector Elena Zagaynova and Vice-Rector for International Affairs Alexander Bedny. The parties discussed possible areas of cooperation between the universities, including academic exchanges of students and teaching staff members, implementation of double-degree programs and joint research and educational activities.

There was also a round table with the management of Lobachevsky University subdivisions interested in cooperation, which was attended by Irina Leonova, Director of the International Affairs Department, Alexander Grudzinsky, Director of the Institute of Economics and Entrepreneurship, Mikhail Rykhtik, Director of the Institute of International Relations and World History, and Roman Golubin, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences. The participants agreed to work on the implementation of joint research and educational projects and educational programs in economics, social sciences and international relations.
