Delegation of Sendai University (Japan) visits the UNN

On August 23, Lobachevsky University hosted a delegation of Sendai University (Japan), together with representatives of the administration of Miyagi Prefecture. The delegation included: Yoshiyi Hidekuni, Associate Professor of Sendai University, Nakagawa Daisuke, official representative of the Government of Miyagi Prefecture, as well as members of the university football team. On the part of Lobachevsky University, the guests were welcomed by Vice-Rector for International Affairs Alexander Bedny, Head of the Center for the examination of foreign documents on education Konstantin Kemaev and Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Elena Orlova. Director of the Japanese Center in Nizhny Novgorod Mr. Kunugida Yutaka also took part in the discussion. The meeting was held within the framework of a three-day visit of the Japanese delegation to Nizhny Novgorod. UNN representatives made a presentation of the University and offered a tour of the UNN campus for the guests. The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation between Lobachevsky University and Sendai University.
