Delegation of the Italian company Danieli visits Lobachevsky University

On March 19, 2019, a delegation of the Danieli Group of companies visited Lobachevsky University. The delegation included Antonello Mordeglia - President, CEO of Danieli Automation, Paola Perabo - Vice President of Danieli Academy, Ivan Doro - CEO of Danieli Volga, Ivan D'Onghia - Regional Manager of Danieli Automation, Tatyana Bezrukova - Director of Human Resources at Danieli Volga. The delegation was welcomed by the Acting Rector Kirill Markov and representatives of UNN administration. As part of their program, the guests visited the laboratory of high-power lasers at the Faculty of Radiophysics, the laboratory of intelligent biomechatronic technologies and the laboratory of neural network technologies at the Innovation Development Center. Members of the delegation met with IITMM students and told them about the organization of production and the prospects for automation at the company's enterprises, opportunities for studying at the Danieli Academy and subsequent employment in this large international holding.

At the conclusion of the visit, a cooperation agreement was signed between Lobachevsky University, Danieli Volga and Danieli Academy, providing for the use of research, scientific, technical, innovative, educational and personnel potential of both parties in promising areas; joint research; practical training of UNN students at Danieli Volga; employment of University graduates at Danieli Volga and internships for hired graduates at the company's headquarters and at Danieli Academy.
