Delegation of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire visits Lobachevsky University

A delegation of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, including Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire to the Russian Federation, Roger Gnango, First Secretary for Consular and Student Issues of the Embassy Legre Guillaume Ahipo and Financial Counselor of the Embassy Sianye Jean Fahe, visited Lobachevsky University on December 7. The meeting was also attended by Irina Bogdanova, Deputy Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia in Nizhny Novgorod and Olga Guseva, Director of the Department of External Relations of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod region. On behalf of Lobachevsky University, guests were welcomed by the UNN President Roman Strongin, Vice-Rector for International Affairs Alexander Bedny and Director of the International Affairs Department Irina Leonova. The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted and to further develop cooperation with Lobachevsky University, to meet with students from the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire (currently, there are 13 students studying at Lobachevsky University). During the meeting, the university guests were introduced to UNN’s history, to its research programs and international activities.
