Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Sergei Shevchenko visits Lobachevsky University

Sergei Shevchenko, Acting Deputy Governor, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod region, visited the UNN Neuroscience Research Institute and the Center for Innovation Development of Medical Instrument Engineering where he got acquainted with the latest research developments in the fields of biomedicine and neurotechnology, robotics and human-machine interfaces. He also visited the newly opened UNN Experimental and Nuclear Medicine Center that has the aim of combining the potential of a high-tech medical clinic for early diagnosis of oncological diseases with the possibility of introducing the results of studies in the field of nuclear medicine, radiobiology, genetics and theranostics into clinical practice. Sergei Shevchenko also visited some laboratories at the UNN Physics and Technology Research Institute (PTRI), where he was introduced to research work carried out in a number of cutting-edge areas of engineering, including additive technologies.
