Development prospects for Sodruzhestvo platform discussed at Lobachevsky University
Alexander Bedny, UNN Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and International Affairs, had a meeting with Ekaterina Kuzmina, Vice-President of PSB Bank and Director of the Department for Non-Banking Services Development. The meeting took place at Lobachevsky University.
The key topics of the meeting focused on collaborative efforts to advance the Sodruzhestvo platform, a modern educational environment where gifted school and university students from 122 countries develop financial security skills through instructional lessons and expert-written articles. On this platform, participants share ideas, receive mentors’ support, and work together on innovative projects. They also participate in online rounds of the International Financial Security Olympiad.
At the meeting, Ekaterina Kuzmina presented innovative solutions for the development of the Sodruzhestvo platform. In particular, it was noted that the platform will be localized into all major world languages, making it accessible to an international audience. Moreover, UNN scientists and educators can act as experts, posting their research papers, original materials, and teaching resources on the platform.
"UNN is actively participating in the International Network Institute, which is the basis for both the Olympiad and international financial security movement. The Rector of Lobachevsky University is a member of the presidium of this organisation, which demonstrates the university's considerable potential in developing the Olympiad track and fostering international collaboration. Together, we will enrich the platform's expert content to equip university and school students with up-to-date knowledge," said Ekaterina Kuzmina.
This collaboration strengthens UNN's position as a leading scientific and educational centre in the fields of financial security and cybersecurity. It serves to promote the university's integration into the international educational community and to expand opportunities for students and faculty members to engage in relevant research and practical initiatives.
"The Sodruzhestvo digital platform serves as a key tool for organising the International Financial Security Olympiad, with our university acting as the coordinator, including in its capacity as the coordinating institution for the Volga Federal District. Given that Lobachevsky University has initiated two new projects in the field of financial security, FinBez Lab and FinBez Practice, the university possesses the necessary resources to provide the platform with high-quality content and will be actively involved in its future development," noted Alexander Bedny, UNN Vice Rector for Strategic Development and International Affairs.
