Digital Fair

The fifth conference "Digital Industry of Industrial Russia" was held at the Nizhny Novgorod Trade Fair on September 23-25.

In his welcome address, the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Gleb Nikitin said: "I am happy to welcome everyone in the Nizhny Novgorod region! This is the first event of such scale during the pandemic. At the end of 2019, we launched the service "Nizhny Novgorod Region Resident's Card". According to our roadmap, we expected to have 500-600 thousand users of the resident's card at the end of 2020, but already in March there were 4 million users of this service. Now we can constantly communicate with residents of our region. Digitalization has definitely accelerated".

In the course of three days, the key issues of the national program "Digital Economy" were discussed, IT companies and industrial enterprises demonstrated their products. Lobachevsky University took part in the conference presenting a number of its best research projects, including a system of high speed communication for groups of unmanned aerial vehicles, a school student's digital psychophysiological map, Cyber Heart+ hardware and software system.

"This is a very representative event aimed to facilitate the transition of digital technologies from science to practice. The participation of our university is very important. We show that we are not only a research university, but also an innovative enterprise. It is very important and interesting for us. We hope to find new partners here," said Elena Zagainova, Rector of Lobachevsky University, on the opening day of the conference.
