Diploma award ceremony for international students of UNN Institute of Economics

On 5 August, a graduation ceremony was held for international students of the UNN Institute of Economics.
Alexander Bedny, UNN Vice-Rector for International Affairs and Networking, addressed the graduates:

"This is an important day for our students, their families, friends and it is an important day for Lobachevsky University. You have come a long way - you decided to pursue higher education, came to another country from different continents, obtained the necessary skills and knowledge, defended your diploma. You are not leaving the University, you are becoming part of a large community of alumni and we hope that this will be of great support to you in the future".

Yulia Plekhova, Director of the UNN Institute of Economics, also offered her congratulations to the students:

"I want to thank you for being with us all these years. I hope that this time was a very memorable period for you and that you will benefit from the knowledge and skills you have learnt. I wish you further bright prospects and professional success".

Congratulations and good wishes were also expressed by Maria Gorbunova, Head of the Department of World Economy and Customs:

"It is with great pleasure that I congratulate you on the successful completion of your studies. I wish professional success, happiness, health and well-being to all of you. The future of the world economy and the economy of your countries is in your hands. I believe that you will be able to make our world a better place. Thank you for choosing our programmes, Lobachevsky University and Russia for your studies."

The first intake of international students for the programme taught in English was organised at the UNN Institute of Economics ten years ago, in 2014.
