Education in an era of change: UNN shares its experience at the Kazan Youth Summit
Alexander Bedny, UNN Vice Rector for International Affairs and External Communications, took part in the Kazan Global Youth Summit 2025. The event brought together more than 200 delegates from 45 BRICS countries and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, including ministers, university rectors, scientists, diplomats, entrepreneurs, media experts and leaders of youth movements.
The participants of the summit discussed the key challenges of modern education in the context of rapid technological, cultural and geopolitical changes.
The key topics of the event were the concept of lifelong learning in a changing world, the balance between national identity and globalization, and the role of youth communities in shaping educational ecosystems. Particular emphasis was placed on the impact of artificial intelligence and innovative startups on learning in the era of EdTech.
At the summit, Lobachevsky University was represented by Alexander Bedny, Vice Rector for International Affairs and External Communications. In his presentation, he shared UNN’s experience and discussed opportunities for global academic mobility of young people in a multipolar world.
"It was a very profound and diverse dialogue about the current state and future of education, exploring how young people can become a driver of international cooperation in the context of global changes. UNN is actively involved in these processes and shares its experience at major international venues," said Alexander Bedny.
In the course of the summit, its participants discussed strategic directions for the development of educational systems and opportunities for strengthening international youth cooperation in the context of global changes.
