Elena Zagaynova appointed Acting Rector of Lobachevsky University

On January 14, 2020, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Mikhail Kotyukov, signed an order appointing Elena Zagaynova Acting Rector of Lobachevsky University.

Elena Zagaynova is a Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Sciences (Medicine), Director of the Research Institute of Experimental Oncology and Biomedical Technologies  of the Privolzhsky Research Medical University, Professor of the UNN Department of Biophysics. She is an expert in the field of experimental and clinical oncology and regenerative medicine. Elena Zagaynova is the author of 244 papers and 19 patents. Her Hirsch Index is 22 (Scopus), 21 (WOS).

Earlier, her candidacy was supported at the meeting of the Supervisory Board of Lobachevsky University.
