Elena Zagaynova makes online presentation at MIEF-2020
From April 26 to April 29, the annual Moscow International Education Fair was held in the Russian capital. For the first time, the event was staged fully online. During the first two days, the Fair was visited by more than 180 thousand persons, including heads and experts of educational organizations and educational authorities, business representatives, parents and school students.
Lobachevsky University was represented at the Fair by its Rector, Elena Zagaynova who spoke at a panel discussion and a round table dedicated to the implementation of the federal project "New opportunities for everyone": the development of universities through the prism of supplementary professional education. Elena Zagaynova shared with her colleagues Lobachevsky University's unique and successful experience in implementing supplementary professional education programs for a wide range of students: teachers, medical professionals, accountants. She spoke about the possibilities of introducing remote technologies in this process, about the need to develop new work formats as new players enter the market of supplementary professional education.
UNN Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Olga Petrova, who also took part in the Fair's regional hour, told the participants about the way universities in the Nizhny Novgorod region switched to a distance learning format.
Moscow International Education Fair (MIEF) is the largest educational event in Russia: an open forum and the largest exhibition of new educational technologies, infrastructure and intellectual solutions in the country. MIEF-2020 is a communication platform for all participants of the education ecosystem, it responds to the main challenges and issues on the global agenda in the context of a rapidly changing and developing world.
